HARTFORD LIGHT THE NIGHT® WALK DIRECTIONS
There are two options of where to park:
State Street Garage or Morgan Street Garage. State Street Garage is $3 to park. It is not clear how much it will
cost to park at Morgan Street Garage. Directions to each follow, with directions of how to get to the walk from the
garage.
One State Street Garage
Driving Directions
From the North
--Take 91 South
--Take
Exit 31-State Street.
--At 2nd light, turn right
onto Market Street.
--At light, turn right
onto Kinsley Street.
--At light, turn right
onto Columbus Boulevard.
--Left into One State Street Garage.
Upon entering garage, parking
fee of $3 will be collected.
From the South
--Take
91 North
--Take Exit 32B-Trumbull
Street.
--At end of ramp, turn
left onto Market Street.
--Proceed to the 2nd traffic
light (under I-84).
--Turn left onto Morgan Street.
--Turn right onto Columbus Boulevard.
--Straight through 2 traffic
lights.
--Left into One State Street Garage.
Upon entering garage, parking
fee of $3 will be collected.
From the West
--Take
84 East
--Take Exit 50-Main Street.
--Straight through 3 traffic
lights.
--Just after 4th light,
right onto Columbus Boulevard.
--Straight through 2 traffic
lights.
--Left into One State Street Garage.
Upon entering garage, parking
fee of $3 will be collected.
From the East
--Take
84 West
--Take Exit 54-Downtown
Hartford (Left Exit).
--Go over the Founders
Bridge to the 2nd traffic light.
--Take a right onto Market Street to the next traffic light.
--Take a right onto Kinsley Street to the traffic light.
--Right onto Columbus Boulevard.
--Left into One State Street Garage.
When you enter the garage, press the call button and let them know you are here for the Light The Night Walk. When leaving the garage, parking fee of $3 will be collected.
To Walk from State Street Garage
Take garage lobby elevator to Level 4. Level 4 will lead you
directly to Constitution Plaza. Look for signs.
Morgan Street Garage
Driving Directions
Directions traveling Route 2 West
--Take Route 2 West to
the Downtown Exit (Left Exit).
Once you get off the exit
get into the far right lane.
--At the 2nd
stoplight take a right on to Market Street.
--Take a right onto Talcott Street and an immediate left into the Morgan Street garage.
Directions traveling I-91 North
--Take Exit 29A-stay in
the right lane.
--Take 1st exit
to Columbus Boulevard.
--Take right on to Columbus Boulevard.
--At the 3rd
light take a left on to State Street.
--At 1st light
take a right on to Market Street.
--Take a right on to Talcott Street and an immediate left into the garage.
Directions traveling I-91 South (From Bradley Int’l Airport/Springfield, MA)
--Take Exit 32-B-Trumbull
Street.
--Once you get off the
exit take a left at the light onto Market
Street.
--Continue through to the
3rd set of lights (Market and Talcott
St.) and take left onto Talcott St.
--Take immediate left into
garage (Connector Rd.)
--Main entrance is on left.
Directions traveling I-84 West (From Boston)
--Take Exit 54-Downtown
Hartford (left exit).
--Cross over the bridge.
--At the 2nd
light turn right onto Market Street.
--Take the 1st
right onto Talcott Street and an immediate left into the garage.
Directions traveling I-84 East (From Danbury/New York)
--Take Exit 50–Main Street Exit.
--At the 3rd
set of lights, turn right onto Market
St.
--Continue to next set
of lights (Market and Talcott St.) and take left onto Talcott St.
--Take immediate left into
garage (Connector Rd.)
--Main entrance is on left.
REMINDER
***Upon entering garage,
you will receive a ticket to park. Hold onto this ticket. You will need to have this on you, upon returning from the Walk.
You must pay before you return to your car.
According to Morgan Street Garage Policy, you cannot pay from your car,
as you leave the garage.***
To Walk from Morgan Street Garage
Walk down Market Street,
passing Kinsley and State. Upon reaching State, make left towards Riverfront
Plaza. Look for signs.
